5Rhythms®-Wave "move & groove"

Participation: This open offer is for adults of all ages, genders, cultures and conditions. Whether you are an routined dancer, have some experience or simply feel addressed, you are welcome in any case! Recommendable is that you bring movement-friendly clothes, bare feet, alternatively non-slip socks or dance shoes and a glass-free water bottle for refilling and a towel for the shower. There are currently no covid measures for this offer. 

Time and Date: every friday 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm, ​​​​​​​entry is open from 7.10 pm to 7.50 pm at the latest, dancefloor opens already at 7.15 pm​​​​​

Location and Directions: Academia Jangada • Capoeira und Tanz • Courtyard of Kulturbrauerei • ​​​​​​​stairs to 1st floor 15m to the right of "Rewe" • Schönhauser Allee 36 • 10435 Berlin • Directions: U2 Eberswalder Straße, M1 Schwedter Straße, etc. ​​​​​​​

Registration and Box-office: ​> HERE you can secure your place for "move & groove" by Friday 6pm at the latest via online registration with prepayment. Admission at the venue opens at 7.10 pm and mostly there are free places available by cash payment for spontaneous dancers. 

In case of this, please check the current dates beforehand, as there might be a cancellation at short notice in very exceptional cases. Participants who have registered in advance will be informed personally and the registration fee will be refunded. 
Otherwise, please note that your registration is always binding, i.e. it is neither refundable nor can it be transferred to another date. However, if you are unable to attend, you can pass on your place if you let me know the name of the new person before the start.

5Rhythms®

The 5Rhythms® flowing staccato chaos lyrical stillness®​ were created by Gabrielle Roth and are both free dance and dynamic meditation. Each rhythm has its own energy and quality. You decide for yourself how deep you dive, because this practice is very complex. You can simply dance, have fun, recharge your batteries, release tension, be in contact or at the same time let go of your thoughts, move what moves you, find your center, meet others as well as yourself in a new way and much more. 

Susanne Stephan

Susanne Stephan is a graduate adult pedagogue and certified 5Rhythms® teacher. Fascinated and passionate, she has been teaching them since 2019. With her natural being, she creates a trusting and inspiring atmosphere and holds a space where you can be with yourself and come out of yourself at the same time. Through her sensitive and clear guidance, a colorful mix of wildness and softness as well as music with a lot of beat and tender sounds, she will also seduce you to dance.
